On Eosinophil Count in Circulating Blood Flow of Febrile Disease

Abstract
|
|
|
The eosinophil count in circulating blood flow were examined on 10 normal persons, 23 patients with typhoid fever, 14 patients with other febrile disease who were admitted to the department of Internal Medicine, Woo Sok hospital, College of Medicine, Korea University from June 1974 to Oct. 1974.
The result obtained were Summerized as follows:
(1) Eosinophil count per cubic millimeter, eosinophils in total leukocyte of normal control group were 176.296.1/mm3, 2.832.66% and at a group of typhoid fever, its value were 24.326.6/ mm´, 0.340.36% and at a, group of other febrile disease, its value were 31.628.7/mm´ 0.4 0.39%.
(2; There wzs no significant difference between typhoid fever and other febrile disease in circulating eosinophil counts.
(3) To follow up study on 10 typhoid fever, 6 other febrile disease, the eosinophil count were increasing step by step when the symptoms were turning improved.
